another 6...

7. When you text in the street, do you bump into people?

I am constantly on my phone texting and calling people. Although, I can’t say that I have ever bumped into anyone while doing this, not that I can remember in the past few weeks at least. That would be pretty funny/embarrassing if that ever happened. I’m sure it is a common occurrence in more populated areas, for example NYC. People are very connected to their phones, me being one of them; I always have my phone within arms reach. When I first got my phone, I would never have it, it almost seemed pointless to me to carry around a phone, like who does that? Now, on the other hand, since texting became so popular, I always have it in my pocket…

8. Do you ever feel alone?

At times, I feel alone, which I’m sure everyone feels this at some point in their lives depending on certain situations. Sometimes being alone isn’t always a bad thing, for me it’s when I am most productive. For example, when I need to get something done by a certain deadline, I sit in my room and finish whatever needs to be done. Now, I feel alone sitting in my room by myself, but it motivates me to complete my task efficiently and quickly to go out and meet with people. In my opinion, feeling alone isn’t always such a bad thing, it’s what keeps me motivated and determined…

20. Are you considered a nerd?

Do I consider myself a nerd, not at all. Many people consider me a very intelligent kid, but that is only because I always put 110% into all my studies. I always make sure that I am the most prepared that I can be for class work and exam. I was the kid in high school who was an “over-achiever,” not trying to be, but I always knew that someone else was working just as hard or harder then me. It was all about getting good grades so I could get into a good school and now it’s all about getting a job when your out of college. So, at times many people might consider me a nerd, but I am nothing more than a kid who just tries hard in school…

22. Do you think like the enemy?

Of course, in the society we all live in today where anyone will do anything just to get ahead, it’s important to think like the enemy. I always have to be prepared for what the enemy is planning or thinking so I am ready for any obstacle I may face. “It’s a dog eat dog world,” which is completely true, nobody really is your friend, if the situation is right, no one can be trusted…

30. Do you worry about authority when it ‘shows up’?

Yes, even though there is no chance of it every being for me, I still worry about it. It’s similar to when a cop is following you. Am I doing something wrong? Why is this guy following me? Why me? It’s a feeling that many people experience even if it isn’t because of something they have done. Then you start making full stops at stop signs and really exaggerating everything, while still making sure you are doing everything right…

38. Are you afraid of your resume?

I am not afraid of my resume. I know that there are obviously people who have better resumes and others who don’t. I’m not going to be able to compete with the kid who got a full ride to Harvard and graduated with a 4.0, I know for a fact that his resume will look better. I try and join a lot of clubs and organizations so that I am the most “well-rounded student.” It’s important to have everything because grades can only go so far. When going out for a job interview I will make sure to how my true personality because it will make my resume look that much better…
