Prisoner in My Own Room

As an RA, I have a lot of responsibilities that a lot of residents do not share or are aware of. Today I have duty. Weekend duty means that I have the phone forwarded to my dorm room which means that I have to stay in my room all day till 7pm when I will have to be in the office for office duty until 11pm and then lucky me has duty till tomorrow morning. Wow doesn't that sound grand! I am trapped in my room all day so I can be ready to answer the phone and take calls from residents that have questions and concerns. So literally I have lost my freedom to move about. And yes this gives me the chance to get some work done but I will not see the sun or the rain cause the weather sucks today until tomorrow...
