Too early...Too much

Today I woke up at 630 to go into work to be back in time for class. Way too early for a college student to be waking up. As I was driving I was wondering what is it that drives each of us? For me it is the hope that one day all this work will pay off but what it is for most? If I could guess I would go with the idea that most people have my state of mind in that matter. Why do work unless it will pay off in the future or give some reward. The generation I live in has been pushed so quickly into college and work ethic that it has become sort of a norm to be in college. It makes me wonder what this next generation of young people will be pushed into. Maybe as our world rushes around us we can for a second take a breath and relax. For those who share my belief ,that this hard work will pay off in the future, let us take a breath and breath for once. After all we have certainly deserved it.
