Stony Brook

You would think Stony Brook life would be the greatest right, esspecially campus life. Well if that's what you thought you are wrong. I read around last year that Stony Brook was ranked within the top ten schools that had the most depressed students. The reason being because Stiny Brook lacks life. From thursday till monday the campus becomes a complete graveyard with everybody on campus leaving to go home or visit someone else and no commuters or visiters from other school coning to the campus. Even when the school is filled with students on a week day they are all antisocial with everyone sticking among their selves. Then that's not to mention the crazy amount of work given to students whom before transfering to this college held about a 3.8 only for their gpa to fall to about a 2.8. Then to be a student without a car is even worst as it leaves you stuck on campus. The campus isn't builded within the heart of the city so although places are close they are only close with those with a car. So to sum it up, stony brook just isn't social and everyone knows it. This schoo; is designed specificly for education because it's impossible to have a life while here. One would think college to be an escape from home how ironic that home end up being the escape from stony brook.
