My funeral song(s)

High Fidelity is probably one of my favorite films of all time, and has therefore inspired this post: What songs would you want played at your funeral? Mine would be ROCK AND METAL!!

I think music at your funeral would leave a lasting impression on your dearly (or undearly) left behind...what...anyways. What songs do you want played at your funeral? Would you want to come back as a zombie? Why am I blogging this? Why am I asking you?

We are all zombies

Sometimes I think I look too far into the meaning of movies, TV shows, etc. I saw Zombieland yesterday and to me it appeared to be obvious commentary on the state of the way people are. As our dear professor always points out we are like zombies. People just go through life mindlessly. Although this may not be ones normal state of being, everyone has there zombie days (for people like me it is every morning before my coffee). Many people even take it so far as to attend college with no idea as to what there purpose of being there is, they simply go because that is what they are supposed to do or that's what their parents expect of them. Very zombie like if you ask me. One of my favorite commentaries on popular culture is South Park. When I am less than sober, South Park blows my mind. Sober it's still pretty good. They usually hit the nail right on the head with a lot of the comments they make. News commentators and other cultural anthropologists never come to conclusions quite as accurate as good ole south park.

Zombies

I have come to realize zombies are a pretty interesting creature. I like all things zombie. Zombie video games, zombie movies, zombie makeup, drawing zombies, dressing up as zombies, Rob zombie, white zombie, you name it, if it involves zombies I will give it a try. Maybe I will dress up as a zombie for halloween, it shouldn't be too hard as I often feel like a zombie as is.

Left for Dead

So my housemates have gotten me a little addicted to this XBox game Left For Dead and I have to say it is a great way to let off steam. It's all about killing zombies and the controllers are not that hard to use which makes it perfect for me because I usually don't play viedo games.The only type of viedo game I ever use to play was Mario and those controllers are a piece of cake to use. This Zombie game though I think is a great way for beginnners to start getting use to more complicated controllers and after playing for like 8 hours in one sitting which I am sad to say I am guiltyof doing, you will know the controllers like the back of your hand. Also Left for Dead 2 is coming out this month which I am very exited for :)

Zombie Land

The whole idea of zombies.. pretty ill, or atleast to me. When i think of a sudden accurance of zombies running the land, i automatically think of taking a trip to walmart and getting the ill shit to blow off some zombie faces! The new movie "Zombie Land" really captures the idea of my typical zombie day dream. Going around with decked out cars specifically designed to kill, and smash, and rip apart zombies in everywhich way. The zombie kill of the week, and all the comedy involved!
