Invincible

In my mind I think that I can take on any challenge as long as I put my mind to it. Sometimes I think I am invincible and if you can do it so can I. But then reality kicks me in the butt and smacks me in the face.

My friends and I were playing basketball and my friend decides to jump over the tennis court net. It looked fairly easy and he did it without any effort. So I thought it would be a grand idea to give it a try myself. Thank god he was on the other side to catch me or else I would not have a face right now. I ran from across the court and jumped, thinking I was going to leap gracefully over the net. But instead....BAM...my leg gets caught and I come crashing on the ground.

Now after being all bruised up and cut in the most random places, I have come to terms that I am not invincible and even though in my mind I can do perfect cartwheels and all that acrobatic stuff, in reality I am a huge clutz!
