Today me and my roommate woke up and proceeded to do our everyday routine: turning on our computers and going online. Yeah, we haven't noticed how we got addicted to the Internet throughout these past years. It is just unbeliavable how we seem to need it today... If someone had told me 5 years ago I will not be able to imagine my life without going online I would have simply denied it... but now...I admitt it...
Well, I think you can imagine how we both felt when it turned out there was no Internet connection in the room. We still do not have wireless in the dormitory but cables had been working quite good so far. So far. Not this time. What only we didn't try doing: we restarted our laptops multiple times, plugged and unplugged the cables but nothing seemed to work. This was so upsetting. We were going crazy, walking around the building and asking other people whether their connection was fine. At least it wasn't just us.
Things had't changed much at 4 p.m. so I went to the library. I hoped they had wireless on the third floor and wasted 1,5 hour trying to figure out how to catch the signal. I thought that it was all my old laptop or something but eventually I figured out they didn't have wireless in there. No margins to the tones of dissapointment I encountered!
I knew they definitely had it on the first floor! And it happened. Finally. So here I am now, enjoying being connected to the world and typing my new post to this blog :)
