SCAMS!

So I am a graduating college student and started my search for jobs. I went onto monster and updated all my information, and as I was in the middle of writing my cover letters my best friend calls me. I answer and I know she was just calling to talk before her class started, so I tell her about my day and then I get an incoming call... it's 212 area code...city....I tell my friend to hold on and I answer the call. It was MSG calling to offer me an internship from my resume on monster. ha! well too bad I can't do it. They need me to work at least 3 days a week not including the weekends. I would be getting credit, but that leaves me two days to go to class! I made my schedule like 5 months ago and I cannot make those changes to work for credit. Anyway it crushed me having to turn the offer down.
Now I have looking for jobs on monster searches and I found a company called Highlight. The company says marketing/sales positions... 9 positions now available...entry level..training...etc
and it already sounds too good to be true. Now, I remember coming across some scams called Jambas and Dynasty. Before I even applied for the job I put Highlight into a google search and didn't get any answers. So I entered a google search Highlight Glen....and Glen Cove NY came up. I clicked it and the first result that popped up was www.ripoffreport.com! I was so interested I read this entire blog of this guy's first day at Highlight. He explained how they solicit people and sell them things that is suppose to be for charity but instead only 5% goes to the contributions and 95% goes to the company, Highlight.
He also said Highlight changed its name from Jambas because too many people were associating that name with Scam. and well now you know it. Stay away from these companies, unless that is what you want to be apart of. But he also says in the article that they say you will receive entry level pay ($30,000) but you really get about half that amount. ($300/week).

I did apply to a couple legitimate companies and I hope they call me tomorrow!
