Blurred reality

Journalists try to reconstruct and help readers become more aware of what reality is and what surreality and fantasy are. Apparently, most people find outlets like news sources, movies and sitcom to make their lives feel more exciting and dramatic. That may be true but what makes journalists more aware of what they see is reality? Journalists and other forms of writers write about other things to imagine fantasy and drama, and do they realize it? I don't think anyone has an excellent perception of what they are seeing is grounded or not because everyone indulges in something that's media concentrated.
