Bulletin Boards

Since I am an RA in Stony Brook, one of my responsibilities is to post a new educational bulletin board up every start of the month...not only do I find this time consuming but annoying and a waste of time...as student RAs, we have to be a full time student, I also have another job outside of this RA job and then I have to also maintain a social life as well and this 4 sided object is one of the many annoying tasks as a RA that I do not see as fulfilling a purpose...I do not mind decorating bulletin boards but redecorating every month seems a little excess..so this month I am doing fun facts of Halloween...I hope my residents take the time out to read it all or else it would serve no purpose and prove to be a complete waste of time and energy...there are so many obligations and standards that we have to uphold to in order to show our care and concern for the residents...what happened to the good old hello how are you and the occasional visits and programs...how does a bulletin board show that I care??...beats me
