Daybreakers

this is a new film about vampires (yes yet again). Based on a graphic novel this film takes place in 2019 where a plague turns most of the population into vampires. The plot of the film is that these vampires began to run out of food (that is blood because the human population begins to go down very quickly). They start to farm humans and seek to find a way to exist after they run out of blood. The film follows a group of vampires who tries to save the human race. Now this sounds kind of cool, and I loved the trailer but how do you run out of blood. This is just silly I think, I mean someone had to be in charge, someone had to know that they didn't have a infinte supply of blood and that someone should ration it. Why would the yeven allow the human population to get so low in the first place when their very existance depends on humans. I can get with vampires who exist and are trying survive throughtout the ages even a group of vampires living throughout the ages. But what i don't get is when vampires try to take over the world. It's silly, if the population of vampires rise too much there are going to be those that are reckless and drink blood for the hell of it bringing the human population down until there is no more blood left and then what. The vampires starves to death. I think it is really silly for these vampires to allow themselves to even be put into a situation like that or even for the vampire population to grow to the point that this could even happen.
