I know that men can often genuinely lust after material things. I don't know about women. I'll illustrate this with an example. Men can walk by a Ferrari and almost literally drool in an indescribable envy. Women may walk by the same vehicle and find it pretty. On the other hand, many men think that every handbag looks exactly the same, maybe save pattern. Women will stretch their necks in incredulous directions when a bag they've lusted after before walks past them on the arm of another.
for example, I find this incredibly sexy. Yes I admit it, it's a hunk of metal.

Now THAT'S a camera...
and the legendary 200L 1.8 can and will get any canon photographer hot and bothered. extremely bothered.
