pessimistic questions

125. Could you deal with the notion of living and loving one person for seven years? I don’t think it’s anything to “deal with” at all. Even with its low points real love isn’t some kind of suffocating giant burden.
126. Eighteen years…to get your kids in college? I don’t think people stay together just to get the kids in college. They probably break up so they could try to get the other party to pay for it entirely.
131. If there were a safe ‘opiate’ that didn’t erode your body or mind…would you take it? Probably not, I think happiness is being content in your own body without any artificiality or alterations.
144. If you could read a bedtime story to your child from your cell phone far away would that be natural? No, I think it’s a stand in for the real thing. There’s some things you can’t substitute, you can’t raise a healthy child with technology.
149. Will there be an alternative to money? No, I wish we’d eliminate money & live in some kind of worldwide commune where if you want something you give something back like maybe something you can do with natural skills but that would never happen because people are greedy & enjoy fiscal status.
