videogames ..

why is it that guys think that girls don't like videogames?!! i personally LOVE them :) Halo is my personal fav but i def LOVE cod equally. i love to play with my boyfriend n beat him ;) its my fav to go against the stereotyping of girls.. and rock at videogames sports and all things guys see as their genre .. i love to break out of the stereotypical box of what guys see girls can do and show them up at things they think they should be better at. I love videogames and football and beating guys up.. i love to wrestle and play fight. its kinda like a lil pupy :) .. i hate losing tho.. its a good thing i dont lol but when i do (once in a blue moon) i hate it .. i hate to be made to feel inferior to guys and especially my boyfriend who is the BIGGEST sore winner EVERR! so basically the point of this rant is to say that i love to be one of the guys but dont rub it in my face when i lose :)) basically lol im bored n i have so much schoolwork to do n make my schedule n everythng but this is what im doing with my time :) so now imma go try to be productivee. xo goodluckk makin schedulesss. <3

The King of Kong

You guys have to watch this documentary called The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. It's about competitive gaming in classic video games. It focuses on the original Donkey Kong and one man's quest to beat the highest score in Donkey Kong history. That record was held by an individual named Billy Mitchell, who apparently is kind of a big deal among these video gamers. However, the film makers paint him as a total antagonist and portray the guy trying to beat the record in a favorable light. But this is part of the reason the film is so good. You gotta see how dedicated some of these people are to classic video games. There is an organization named Twin Galaxies that upholds all these records and they're totally devoted to what they do. It's unbelievable. Watch this film.

Diablo III

Diablo III, i don't know when it's coming out, if anyone knows the actual date, and not some phony bullshit, lemme know..
When i was younger i was really into computer games, Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Counter-Strike, Half-Life, etc. Now i haven't really been playing many games, alot of which i think has to do with the fact that i have a Mac, and also because i have a PS3, which i really don't even use that much. Even though i haven't been much for video games, i am def. going to get the new Diablo

Driving and Video Games

Ever get so mad at a video game you crap your pants? Well me neither, but I thought that would be a good way to start my blog. I do get mad at video games though. Especially games such as Starcraft because I always get decimated whenever I play someone over the internet. Then, on top of that, they feel the need to type to me how much I suck. So I respond, "excuse me sir, but I believe you are exercising poor manners by speaking to me in this fashion and I would like an apology." I didn't get an apology, just more ridicule.

Driving a car is another activity that really brings my piss to a boil. I feel like everytime I decide to drive my car on Long Island, that's when the jackoff parade is in full force. Long Island drivers are nuts. Every driver on Long Island has just sat in congested traffic for so long that they feel the urge to drive this way. One time, my friend was driving on 347 with me in the car and he gave a fat guy the finger for cutting him off. So, the fat guy starts to follow us, but fortunately we lost him when we got to campus. That could have been a touchy situation!
