Foreign Food Fields Forever

I just found out that the restaurant Strawberry Fields (located across the street from the Stony Brook train station) has been sold and a new restaurant will be taking its place shortly. “What style of food will this new dining institution offer?” You might ask. Steak! And American, Irish and Italian fare!!! HA… I wish. It will be a Thai restaurant, which will further add to our already stacked foreign food dining options roster here at Stony Brook. I have no problem with Asian cuisine or any form of ethnic food whatsoever. I just want some variety from this and I don’t want to feel as though the basic home-style food I know and love is slowly traveling farther and farther away from my reach. Again, I am sad...and hungry.
