Like I said in my other blog, these award shows are full of surprises. The first award was best female video. Taylor Swift won the award, up against Beyonce. While Taylor was giving her speech saying maybe 2 words, Kayne West pops onto the stage grabs the mic out of her hands and says "I'm sorry Taylor, but Beyonce really had the best video".... and gives the microphone back to Taylor. She as well as the audience are in shock and MTV cuts to the next skit, leaving Taylor in the dust to walk off stage. The audience tries to cheer Taylor on but it doesn't make up for what Kayne did.
I thought the whole thing was an act.. but it wasn't making any sense so I knew it was for real.
But after that Taylor moved on and performed her song after the commercial break.
