Blog update: I found the smell!

I blogged a few days ago about how there was a repugnant decomposing odor in my house. It was a blog entitled the spirit, or something. Anyway, my roommates and I found out where the odor was coming from. We looked under the kitchen table and we found two pounds of rotting ground beef. It was terrible. It turned black and it was covered with maggots. It was a horrid scene. I almost puked all over the place. Apparently, one of my roommates took it out over two weeks ago and just forgot about it. Somehow, it ended up underneath our kitchen table where we couldn't see it. Thank God we found this abomination and got it the hell out the house. It was really driving all of us insane trying to find out where this smell was coming from. There were flies buzzing all around the house and trying to get in. It was something out of a horror movie. Now that the rotting beef is out of our house, it smells so much better. The air is clean and it smells like Fall.. Big improvement!
