I have absolutely grown to love the town I live in. This was no small feat, I have lived in the same town my whole life and like any typical teenager growing up I hated it and could not leave it fast enough. Maybe its all the time spent on Long Island, but every weekend I always look forward to going back home. I guess I live in a pretty small town, most people have not heard of it but when I get to thinking about it, it is kind of perfect. I live 10minutes from thunder ridge (although it's not the best mountain, it still counts) it allows me to indulge in snowboarding very easily. I live not too far from the city, so if I am craving some big city action it is just a hop and a skip away. The same holds true for the beach, I can easily access a number of beautiful beaches. That's just the beginning, my town is also beautiful and some for my favorite places to eat are close by. I must be one lucky girl to live in such a great place, I am glad I finally learned to appreciate it.
