Internet for the future
So as time goes on and we rely more and more on technology and its advances to "make our lives easier," is our culture slipping or merely adapting? I think its a little of both.. its slipping because we are communicating less and less in person and more over the internet, or through cell phones or email or instant messaging, facebook, blogsites (such as this which i do not agree with being a required part of this course to take part in)... all of these things take away person to person interactions. These interactions are such a vital part of our being.. we grow up and mature based on natural factors as well as outside factors (nature vs. nurture). Where is the nuture in technology? Well, sure its a way to communicate, but what about in-person expressions? I think the future generations of our youth are in serious danger of just turning into a bunch of robots and computers. :)
