I hate my laptop!!
my dad bought me this laptop when i was a sophomore in high school and i used it for maybe a year before my desktop got fixed. once that got fixed, i didn't really use my laptop because the desktop was way faster. my laptop is a compaq presario and its pretty old and stuff. i decided not to buy a new laptop before coming here freshman year because it was still functional, just a little slow. sometimes when i go on webpages, my laptop lags but i've gotten used to it. last year, it didn't really bother me because i used my laptop for the Internet and writing essays. and i live in benedict so if my laptop was too slow for me to bare, i would just go downstairs to the sinc site. so last year, i was like whatever, i can manage continuing to use this laptop until it dies of after i graduate. however, this year, i need my laptop to do projects with sketch up, comic life and photoshop. and i find it really difficult to always having to go to the sinc site to do the projects. i dont live in a building that has a sinc site downstairs so i'm really not compelled to walk over to benedict. i'm seriusly thinking about buying a new laptop during thanksgiving break cause it's starting to be a problem now. and my friends all know about the slowness of my laptop and make fun of me because of it. they also refuse to come to my room to do any homework that requires loggin onto blackboard like orgo workshops because my laptop will either lag or not respond.

6 more to add
20. Are you considered a nerd?
I think I have an inner nerd inside of me that comes out whenever I have projects or exams. Nerds spend a lot of time studying and get straight A's. I wish I had that much time to just read a textbook and get straight A's. The marjoity of the textbooks I have to read are extremely boring. I don't get how they can sit for hours reading a bio or chem textbook. I just read one paragraph and I'm about to fall asleep or I'm tempted to go on Facebook or AIM.
16. What kind of feeling do you feel when some distant friend texts you?
Actually, kind of weird especially if we haven't talked in a while or if we're not that close. It's just surprising to get a text out of the blue from a distant friend. But then after the whole, "Um, so what have you been up to lately?" phase, it would feel a little less weird.
4. Do you feel burdened by your desktop? Your laptop? Your cell phone?
I feel burdened my my laptop because I bought it so long ago and it's so ancient. All my friends know how slow it is and it's lack of capabilities. I don't feel like buying another one because it still works and I only use it for Internet and typing. Anything fancier than those two, I just go to the SINC site. Just the other day, I had my friends over in my room to do the orgo quiz and my computer was lagging and loading for so long that it was a little embarrassing.
22. Do you think like the enemy?
Sometimes. I think it's good sometimes to think like the enemy. The way I see it, when I think like the enemy, I get a competitive edge. You see things from both perspective and you can get some sort of feeling about what might happen. I observe my surrounding and see what I'm lacking in so that I can work on them. Thinking like the enemy helps me get more prepared.
19. Do you flock aimlessly looking for the hot gyro?
No because I don't eat gyros. And I'm not picky about the foods I eat so I wouldn't be flocking aimlessly looking for one specific food. If I'm hungry, I eat whatever is closest to me as long as it tastes good and not off the streets.
45. What do you think of the public feed on face book?
Facebook is too open. Anyone, as long as you're their friend can see your status. I don't like the home page where you can see everyone's posts or status updates. There's no privacy and I especially hate the "See Wall to Wall" option. People be stalking on facebook. No one wants to admit it, but some people just spend their days reading other people's conversations. I'd have a conversation on FB with one friend and then the next day, another friend would know everything by seeing wall to wall. That's just creeping.
