Birthday!!!!

Just came back from a birthday party for twins and it was pretty awesome. The theme was western/ cowboy and hollywood and each twin dressed up in one of the two themes. It was pretty fun to see everyone either cowboy/cowgirl or all dressy for hollywood. i find that themed parties are much more fun cause everyone dresses up and some people really go all out. for this one, one girl had buttless chaps (but she wore spandex and underwear) which was totally funny. and in these events, you meet so many other people you wouldn't normally meet so it's a good way to make some new friends. it's also good to let loose once in a while and do something out of the ordinary and it makes life that much more interesting.

decisions, decisions, decisions...

everyday, we all have to make decisions whether they're good or bad. at the heat of the moment, you think you're making the right one but after some time to think about it, you wonder if you actually made the right choice. yesterday, instead of going to my job, i had someone else take my shift so that i could go out with my friends. my intentions the whole day was to actually go but after practice at 9pm, everyone decided to go out. not wanting to miss the fun since everyone was going, i started making so many calls to get someone to cover for me. well, i'll have to admit it, if i didn't go, i would've missed a great time. but when i was brushing this morning, i started thinking. i need to make better choices next time because i had a responsibility yesterday and i just blew it off. i think it was a combination of peer pressure and the fact that i would be having a great time that ultimately pushed me into making a hasty decision to forgo my shift. i guess this is a life lesson we'll all experience in college.

btw, i got back to my room at around 3:45 am and i can't believe i actually made it to my 8:30 bio class.

ahh the weekend..

wow its friday! i can relax until tomorrow when the real studying begins. this week wasn't as bad. didn't do much studying for any class, mostly hung out with friends. socially productive, academically failed. these three day weekend will be filled with studying for orgo which should be fun. i'm gonna be thinking about all those functional groups, and organic reactions and how they relate to my everyday life. oooo so looking forward to that!

I guess 6 more...

26. What would make you converge with one other person?

There is a few reasons. First, if that person is my friend. We could talk about everything, tv, class, friends,.. etc. Another reason would be if we have something in common like taking the same class or doing the same activity/ club. Then it could also be if asking a question like if I'm lost, I would ask the first perosn I see for directions or it could be a teacher.

27. Six other people?

We'd be like a group of friends hanging out and just talking about what happening in our lives. Or it could be my coworkers and we're talking about a project we're working on together. Or we'd talk because we're just plain bored with our job and need the time to go by faster.

28. Three thousand people?

It would probably have a big issue like something political or controversial. And it wouldn't be face to face cause that's a whole of people. It'd be on a Facebook group, chat or some other social media.

5. What would make you get rid of a friend?

I guess a few things. First, if they're not a true friend and they talk crap about me behind my back. I know need a "friend" whose a back stabber. Second would be if s/he isn't responsible and their actions would be me in harm's way or has negative repercussions that affect me.

46. Do you make public messages or use the private messages?

I use both depending on the subject I'm talking about. if it's something I just want a limited number of people knowing, then I use private messaging. Most of the time, I just use public messages because it's just easier.

131. If there were a safe ‘opiate’ that didn’t erode your body or mind…would you take it?

Yes only if it's entirely safe. I think some people don't use "opiate" because if has severe side effects. I think more people would use it if it was completely safe and didn't do any damage to their body. I personally stray away from things that are potentially harmful to my body such as smoking...etc. But if there are no consequences for my actions, then I would definitely do them.

6 more to add

20. Are you considered a nerd?

I think I have an inner nerd inside of me that comes out whenever I have projects or exams. Nerds spend a lot of time studying and get straight A's. I wish I had that much time to just read a textbook and get straight A's. The marjoity of the textbooks I have to read are extremely boring. I don't get how they can sit for hours reading a bio or chem textbook. I just read one paragraph and I'm about to fall asleep or I'm tempted to go on Facebook or AIM.

16. What kind of feeling do you feel when some distant friend texts you?

Actually, kind of weird especially if we haven't talked in a while or if we're not that close. It's just surprising to get a text out of the blue from a distant friend. But then after the whole, "Um, so what have you been up to lately?" phase, it would feel a little less weird.

4. Do you feel burdened by your desktop? Your laptop? Your cell phone?

I feel burdened my my laptop because I bought it so long ago and it's so ancient. All my friends know how slow it is and it's lack of capabilities. I don't feel like buying another one because it still works and I only use it for Internet and typing. Anything fancier than those two, I just go to the SINC site. Just the other day, I had my friends over in my room to do the orgo quiz and my computer was lagging and loading for so long that it was a little embarrassing.

22. Do you think like the enemy?

Sometimes. I think it's good sometimes to think like the enemy. The way I see it, when I think like the enemy, I get a competitive edge. You see things from both perspective and you can get some sort of feeling about what might happen. I observe my surrounding and see what I'm lacking in so that I can work on them. Thinking like the enemy helps me get more prepared.

19. Do you flock aimlessly looking for the hot gyro?

No because I don't eat gyros. And I'm not picky about the foods I eat so I wouldn't be flocking aimlessly looking for one specific food. If I'm hungry, I eat whatever is closest to me as long as it tastes good and not off the streets.

45. What do you think of the public feed on face book?

Facebook is too open. Anyone, as long as you're their friend can see your status. I don't like the home page where you can see everyone's posts or status updates. There's no privacy and I especially hate the "See Wall to Wall" option. People be stalking on facebook. No one wants to admit it, but some people just spend their days reading other people's conversations. I'd have a conversation on FB with one friend and then the next day, another friend would know everything by seeing wall to wall. That's just creeping.

toga

okay so last night was aepie's toga party. um soooo much fun. there were so many people everyone was packed into a little frat house enjoying themselves dancing playing games n just hanging out outside where it was allot cooler. i danced so much i was literally dripping with sweat everyone was having so much fun. until ... the cops showed up i mean they didn't come until 2'oclock in the morning so the party lasted pretty long. but when the cops came they came.. they started giving people tickets and taking their license n registration and asking everyone so many questions thank god me and my friends got out of there before the cops could stop us and give us tickets, but everyone else was stuck there for alot longer trying to get out of the tickets they were handing out. it was crazy fun exciting and all and all a good night. :)
- so basically it is 5'oclock in the afternoon and i have still yet to do the work that i have to do for school... ughh i love college .. but sometimes the whole procrastination meet workload thing doesn't work out to my advantage.

p.s. my toga was pretty amazingg :) i love themed partiesss
