so I found out today that this Swedish group, Looptroop Rockers, are touring the US later this year. This is crazy to me because they seem so localized within Sweden and one of the members of the group, Promoe, had a summer hit with a song called "Svennebanan" this year - the title means nothing really (except banan is banana in swedish, svenne doesn't mean anything!). Promoe and the rest of Looptroop Rockers are from Västerås, which is the city I lived in and they played a nightclub in town when I was there, so I feel an obligation to see them when they come through New York...

When I saw this video for the first time I realized that loads of it was shot in Västerås and now that I'm back in New York I find myself nostalgic watching it!
