stressed and sick wanting to graduate.

School is coming down to the end. all semester we been getting our work done and trying so hard to get good grades. It seems

like everytime i have a big test coming up and a shit load of art work to do i get sick!! which makes everything so much harder!!

why does school always get me sick!! ahh..

seems like school is the root to all my worries and struggles. i just want to graduate out of stony brook and move on. but they

are giving me hard time about two studio art classes. I only need two more to graduate and i busted my ass this semester trying

to get these classes. and now their saying THR 480 cannot be counted as a ARS class. WHy isnt this class considered an art class ?

can someone please explain? this school is pissing me off!

Transfer apps...

Sooooooooooooooo I just finished some of my transfer applications for Fall 2010. I applied to Binghamton, Albany, St, Johns, Baruch, and some others I still need to finish. I really like Stony Brook, but it would only be in my best interest to continue my education career elsewhere. Right now, I am a Business Management major. I would really like to pursue a career in Accounting. I am aware that Stony Brook has an accounting program, but it is a CONCENTRATION not a MAJOR. When I graduate, I would like my diploma to read ACCOUNTING and not BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. I don't know, I feel that when i graduate this will help with finding a job out in this. I also would like to experience the "college experience." What is it like to dorm? I have made a bunch of friends at Stony Brook but I never feel I am that connected to the campus. I haven't gone to many sporting events and Stony Brook is a D1 school and I only live 10 minutes from campus! I feel if I was on campus all the time, I would go to these games more often. We'll see what happens...

Homecoming 2009

The game was absolutely awesome! We creamed the other team! Before the game I went too the homecoming parade at 12. I worked on the banner for Commuter Student Services. It came out so good. The tailgate party was so much fun. Hanging out with student, staff, and faculty drinking beer and talking. It was cool! Cant believe I never went before in the 3 years that I have been here for...

classes that are horrible

I've left my math requirement for Stony until the very end of my time here, because I'm simply just horrible at it. I needed to take statistics for my Political Science degree, and so I'm fulfilling this requirement with an online stats class. It's probably the worst thing ever, I honestly have no idea what I'm doing and cross my fingers whenever I turn anything in. I seriously just have no understanding for mathematical thought, and things that seem so simple to other people is just such a struggle for me. I've always been more of a social sciences minded student, and I've always admired the ease at which maths comes to some people. I really hope I'm able to scrape by and pass this class.
