/SICK, AGAIN

I'm sick, again. This is the second time I've been sick so far and its not even November/December yet.

Before I went to bed last night, my throat was a little scratchy and when I woke up this morning and my throat was really bothering me. It feels kind of numb back there. I really hope this isn't one of the sicknesses that last 2 weeks. Ugh, I hate being sick. From now on, I'm not sharing anything with anyone! No sharing of drinks or food! >:[

/WORK

I was at work for 5 hours today, not bad. Tomorrow is another day of work. Sunday I'm back at Stony Brook.
I read a little for my sociology class at work. Couldn't read too much though because I was running back and forth. It was pretty busy. I hope tomorrow is a bit slower. I don't know how much of running back and forth for 5 hours I can do. Then after work tomorrow, I'm going to Buffalo Wild Wings, again, hopefully. I am in love with their ribs and wings. They're so delicious. If you ever have the chance, I would definitely suggest all of you guys to try it.

Now it's time to do some of my business homework before I go to bed!

/SEASONS

I dislike how the weather changed so drastically in such a short span of time. It felt like it was just yesterday that I could walk out with just a tshirt and shorts. Now I need to wear a jacket because it's THAT cold outside. It's still really nice out when the sun is out ...

I wear shorts all year round so the weather doesn't have a great impact on me but the fact that it's only October and I need to bring out my winter fleece is a bit ridiculous. This weather just makes me wish there were snow on ground so I can build a snowman. Skip the autumn weather and go straight to winter. Autumn season is such a tease because it's cold but not cold enough for winter. Yes, I think I'm a winter type of girl. I like spring and winter. Summer is only good for the beach.

Other than this tiny rant, my day has been good so far. I need to read read read for upcoming exams but I'm such a procrastinator.

/HOMETOWN NEWS

The television was on channel 7 and out the corner of my eye I saw "North Babylon" , which is the town I live in. It immediately caught my attention so I raised the volume. Then I heard 29 Pell Ave and it sounded really familiar. The news people were talking about how a 17 year old boy was in his basement making a homemade pipe bomb and it exploded on him. I didn't really hear his first name but I heard his last name and after a few times of reapeating it, I realized it was my friends brother. It exploded in his hand and they rushed him to the hospital.

I haven't really talked to that friend in a while so it might be random to go and ask how her brother is but I hope he is doing fine. But why do people even attempt to do things like these? Do they have nothing else better to do? I mean seriously now. He could have gotten dangerously hurt. Regardless, I hope he is okay.

/SATURDAY

Instead of spending my day doing homework, like what was planned; I went out to Roosevelt Field mall to go shopping. I bought 3 tops and I built a dog at build-a-bear workshop. Everything came out to about 60$. I came home to make money, not to spend money. I really need to learn to say "no" to buying stuff I can live without.

Now its 4PM and I have ample time to do school work. Maybe I'll bring it with to me to work and read the book because I have no clue what to write my paper on. If only all classes were simple and fun...

/NAPS

I just woke up from one of the best naps everr! I had to leave early this morning to go back home because you're not allowed to park on campus after 7AM. My friend was sleeping over for the night and instead of waking up at 7AM we woke up at 8. Thankfully we didn't get a ticket. We only had 3 hours of sleep though. So it was pretty brutal. I got back home, cleaned my turtle tank, and passed out on my bed. 4 hour nap was good for me. Now it's homework homework and more homework!

Speaking of my turtles, they grew so big. I didn't want to bring them with me to school because I know I wouldn't have time to clean their tank and everything. I would feel really irresponsible so I just kept them at home but they grew so big. They're the size of my palm and I have 3 of them. I think I should get a bigger tank for them!

It feels really nice to be home. No distractions so I can focus on my schoolwork!

/THURSDAY

It's Thursday, once again, for the 5th time so far.
Happy Birthday to all the Sepetember 24th babies! I know 4 people who have a birthday today ... it's insane. My sister, my best friends sister, my friend, and my other friend. Sometimes I wonder how many people in the whole world have the same birthday and what's the most common birthday to have... is there a place I could go to look that up because that would be pretty cool.

Plans for tonight? Celebrating birthdays :D
Plans for the weekend? Going home and working. It's a 5 day weekend for me! I'm actually pretty happy about that. More time to do school work and more time to work and make some money.

/SHORT TERM

I had something to post on my blog because it was relevant to the class but then ... I forgot what I was going to blog. YAY for short term memory.

Well anyways, I have a 5 day weekend! I have no Friday classes and we don't have classes on Monday and all my classes for Tuesday are canceled. Well Tuesday follows a Monday schedule and all my classes for 'Monday' were canceled so 5 day weekend for me! I think I'm going to go home and stay till Tuesday night so I can work and make some money. I never really realized how much money I spend at college. I won't ever make enough to keep up with my spending habits.

Also, that means I only have 2 days of classes next week. WOW, what an easy week. I promise myself I will get work done!

/READING

Wow, it's Wednesday already. Again, week by week. It's flying by. It's the END of week 4 already. Soon enough, it's time for finals! AHH, stress stress stress.

This week was somewhat different from last week, which is good. I hate when all the weeks feel the same. I actually did my work, not at the end of the week. I read my book for EUR201 but it's really confusing. Has anyone read Rabelais' Gargantua? Some chapters in that book are actually somewhat interesting but then when it starts getting into Latin language, it gets really really confusing. I still need to read 100 pages before I finish the whole book. I need to finish it by the weekend. Then I need to read for soc and hui. YAY FOR READING!

/MONDAY

Someone please remind me why I take night classes and who came up with 3 hour night classes?
Monday nights were supposed to be dedicated to Gossip Girl but now instead I need to sit in a classroom for 3 hours learning about business. It probably won't help me in the future. Will it?

I have an hour to myself before I leave for the 3 hour class of doom! I'm just sitting here listening to Hey Monday. I should be doing some homework but I think I'll start that after my 3 hour class because I know for sure I won't be doing anything. Gossip Girl won't be online that fast and I would have already missed it. So hooray!

Hooray for mondays! Hooray for night classes!

ROLLERCOASTER!

Everything has been ALL OVER THE PLACE!
I don't know where to begin. I'm feeling better than I was before but still nothing has ever gotten to me and this is a first. College is changing me, again.
AHHHH. I want the old me back !

My life feels like a roller coaster. It goes up then goes down then sometimes it goes completely upside down! How did I get myself into these situations? What have I done wrong?
Is it just me or do people over exaggerate stuff and come to conclusions without hearing the other side?

I just have to live life day by day and just see what happens. Whatever happens, happens!

/FRIDAY

Here comes the weekend.
Here comes all my schoolwork.
Here comes procrastination.
Here comes staying inside during the day.
Here comes going out at night.
Here comes MY weekend.

That is what my weekend is going to consist of. Me sitting right here trying to do work but instead I go on facebook or youtube or AIM. There's so many things that can keep my occupied and then 5PM rolls around and it's like "OH SNAPS!" No work has been completed. Then the next day, it's the same thing over again until Sunday, that's when work really needs to be done.

But I'm really trying to do some of my written homework. There was no clear guidelines for my business homework so I decided to leave it for now and blog! I'll probably finish my business homework by tomorrow the latest. Next I have to start on my comic life and then lots and lots and LOTS of reading. YAY FOR PROCRASTINATION!

This is totally and completely random but I was reading through other peoples blogs and something came to me. ..

Does anyone actually reads all the blogs that gets posted or is it just Professor Baldwin reading these blogs?

Also, I noticed that no one replies to anyone elses blogs. I think it would make this community tighter if people commented on peoples blogs saying what they think or whatever on it. I know it's not required but it's a great way to start conversation and make some friends.
