Procrastination..

If you put off what you have to do you only let things pile up more...

ARGHH! PROCRASTINATION!

I hate procrastinating when it comes to my school work but somehow I always manage to get myself in these situations! Especially when it comes to projects where it requires me to do more than just open a book and study for a test. Although I love expressing my creativity through a visual or audio medium, sometimes I feel as if I have to compromise my work because of my procrastination. But I will overcome this disease that I am suffering from and finish this semester off on a high note. These past two weeks I have been feverishly working on finishing up a website in Dreamweaver, my documentary film for this class, and my fictional film which I will be presenting at MonkeyTown at the end of the semeter. But that's not the end of it, because every day I go to class there's some more work that's piled upon my already full plate...

weekend is almost over and i have just realized that i havent gotten any work done ..

procrastination fueled by dancing with the stars?

I'm naturally someone that leaves things to the last minute, but with horrible television coming my way tonight, it's going to be even worse I reckon - I have an assignment for my statistics class due in at midnight and I'm pretty much clueless as to how to go about it...so, this should be fun. Also our THR 216 assignment due in tomorrow, which is less of a struggle for me, but still requires brain power, of course.

I find myself so over consumed by media that I need to have the television on, or my iTunes open when I'm doing work. Silence freaks me out, and I legitimately come to a stop when I have no noise around me. But right now, I guess Dancing with the Stars has come back for the year, and while I'm not an avid viewer of this spectacle, it's sort of like watching a car crash, unable to turn your head away from the television and comprehend what's going on. From the insane judges to the cheesy arrangements of songs released several months ago, I have no idea what to make of this show, and found myself confused as to why it was nominated for an Emmy last night.

Oh well, at least it's noise.

Here comes all my schoolwork.
Here comes procrastination.
Here comes staying inside during the day.
Here comes going out at night.
Here comes MY weekend.

That is what my weekend is going to consist of. Me sitting right here trying to do work but instead I go on facebook or youtube or AIM. There's so many things that can keep my occupied and then 5PM rolls around and it's like "OH SNAPS!" No work has been completed. Then the next day, it's the same thing over again until Sunday, that's when work really needs to be done.

But I'm really trying to do some of my written homework. There was no clear guidelines for my business homework so I decided to leave it for now and blog! I'll probably finish my business homework by tomorrow the latest. Next I have to start on my comic life and then lots and lots and LOTS of reading. YAY FOR PROCRASTINATION!
