is winter here yet

It is finally beginning to be cold. the weather has been nice for far to long and I never thought i would say this but I'm happy it is beginning to become cold. When I was younger at this time around the year snow would already be on the floor. It's a scrary thought to think about the future and know that a whole year can pass without snow ever falling from the sky over here. It feels like my children will be cheated out of their childhood winters and my grandchildren might not ever know what a true winter is.
