Sesame Street is 40

The kids television show Sesame Street turned forty years old today. I remember when it first came on the air. That officially makes me an old fart! I recall watching the early episodes and love watching the old sketches like Ernie and Lefty on youtube. Lefty was kind of a shady salesman who would sell things like the letter O or a stop sign for a nickel. He would never get the nickel. They are cute
