have you looked out your dorm window today?

Ok so I'm bored in business statistics and since I have my laptop I decided to check out the blog. But, I can't get over this nice weather. It's so bright out, theres' a huge glare on the blackboard. I just checked online and it says it's 63 degrees! For December, that is almost unheard of around this time. This is the even crazier part, theyre talking about snow for the weekend. Ok, so let me think about this, its 63 degress today, Thursday, and a chance of snow on the weekend. I don't get it. hahaha. I can't wait to go home and go for a run...

Soo cold and wet... what was i thinking?

even though it was rainy and windy, we still had practice today. all three coaches were there and were unbelievably pumped that we, the players, had to practice in the terrible conditions. a good number of us showed about 12, which is pretty good, considering the weather. everyone that showed up today showed dedication and commitment since this sunday is our playoffs.

so while i was dressing for practice, i guess my neurons weren't firing cause of 2 reasons. first, it was raining which meant that i would be running and doing drills in the rain. was bringing a hoodie a concern? NOO. instead i was more worried about forgetting to bring my umbrella. kind of dumb considering i can't be practicing holding an umbrella in my hand. second, i wore a white long sleeve to practice. rain plus dirt and grass equals muddy field. white shirt plus mud equals a pain in the butt when i do laundry. oh boy, what was i thinking tonight?

I watch the 5pm news quite religiously (without noticing always) every day, and one thing I've come to notice is the extent to which people complain about the weather if it's not 70 degrees and sunny. It's a bit depressing watching incredibly made up anchors whinge about a possible rain to come in the next few days and how they cling to any hope of sunlight. Is this how we're living? On what the weather brings us? Admittedly, driving in the snow and rain isn't always the most pleasant, but how do we let weather define how our day is? I hate listening to people harp on about how the weather has ruined their mood & day. No, don't blame the weather, you can probably pick yourself up from this without blaming the bloody weather. Get over it, seriously.

this weather sucks..

what i hate most besides rain is when its misty/ drizzling. i had a game today and we were supposed to meet at 7:30 am. yesterday, i accidentally set my alarm for 6:3o0 PM instead of am. 7:55 am today, i get a call and text and i look at the clock and go shyt. i overslept, so i rushed to get ready, shoving my contacts into my eyes and skipping breakfast. i ran from h quad all the way to the sac to get there at 8:10. last one there but luckily they didn't give me crap about it.
