waiting for dinner

tonight my roommates and I are having dinner with an old friend from freshman year. The three of us girls lived together in a triple and he lived across the hall. The four of us did everything together. We were like a family. Then he decided to transfer to a city school closer to home and change majors. So we literally have not seen him in 3 years! We kind of lost touch. Now we all have moved on with our lives and he seems more mature and has a girlfriend. I am in my room waiting for him to drive up here to take us out to dinner to catch up on everything and reminisce about the good old days.! too bad this weather stinks, but he will end up brightening the day... haha
We are going to go to salsa salsa in port jeff....
but looking at the clock with my jacket on and everything...ive been waiting since 530 when he said he would be here.. but he called he needed to get gas...and now it is 615...he should be here any minuter now. But when you stare at the clock it always seems longer.... like staring at water watching it boil..

It's about time...

I have put in so much time and effort into my Business Statistics class, and it's finally paying off. I received a 94 on my last exam, which counts 30% towards my final grade, not bad right? It feels good that sometimes things do work out if you put in some extra studying and a little extra effort...

Tired

I'm really tired this morning. I don't really know why though. I got my recommended 7 seven hours of sleep and I'm still tired. I find that when I don't get enough sleep i'm definitely tired, but it never seems like I can never get enough. All the work this week and next week has made it a pretty stressful semester so far. I am doing aright in all my classes, but I am putting more time and effort into my classes then ever before. I need a break.....

where does the time go?

I don't know why but I have the feeling that this week has passed by way faster than any other work week ever did. I haven't even noticed how Monday turned into Friday, but here we are facing Saturday already... Unbelievable... Where does the time go? Today me and my group had to work on the project for our advertising class.. Well, we planned it that way that we have four hours to do so. At the end we realized we haven't been able to accomplish anything. What is to blame? the easiest answer would be the lack of time but it probably isn't the major case here...

Time is going by so fast... too fast

It seems as if these weeks are flying by... Here we are a late Thursday night, another week done for me. This is the 5th week already. Exams are just about done for a couple weeks, but soon enough it will be round 2. I don't have time to just sit and relax, I'm constantly moving and doing something. My life revolves around school, work, homework, friends, and sleep which is optional of course. I get this annoying feeling. If I decide to relax a few minutes something immediately pops in my head, blogs, hw, studying, etc. I just wish I could not think about anything for a few hours. But I know that this will all pay off eventually, I just need a break!!
