It's always an experience running into someone you knew from a long time ago, no matter where you are. But even more odd is bumping into them in a setting that you'd never expect. Nightclubs, frat houses, and I'd imagine that a stripper club would be one awkward experience. But, given the nature of my work at the moment, I do bump into people. Friday night, I ran into a old friend's little sister. Granted, she's not much younger than I, being a freshman at NYU now, but it was still definitely something different, because we've always treated her as a little sister, the little sister that she is. I was greeted with a "KENNETH!", hug and a little bit of conversation. Awkward was the guy behind her who she had been dancing with, rudely interrupted by my presence, but I didn't feel bad at all. In fact, I was glaring (perhaps rather obviously) at the said guy, in a warning stare to watch himself: the girl's like my little sister.
