Is this really fashion?

Ok I am not a fashion expert and I certainly don't keep up with the changing styles but somethings that people are wearing are so out there I just keep wondering what there reasoning behind there decision is. First off one thing I hate seeing on girls is Ugg boots and mini skirts. I don't get it is it summer or is it winter. You can't have it both ways. I like both Ugg boots and mini skirts but not together. It is like putting chocolate on broccoli and expecting a good outcome. They just don't go and so many people wear them together. I think people only wear them because of peer pressure. It is cool because someone out there once wanted to be different so everyone follows in there path. People, just think about what you are putting on instead of what other people are putting on and see if it makes sense for yourself.
