second round of questioning

23. If all of life were some sort of ‘game theory’ competition…love, friends, jobs…would you play continuously? No, if I thought of it that way it would be incredibly exhausting. I don’t know how I could survive if I felt like I was constantly competing & worrying about losing. I want to make my own rules & I want there to be no pressure.
29. Can you determine your ‘arrivals’ from your departures? I think arrivals are more memorable & notable & departures just fade into the undistinguishable background.
31. What could you possibly share? The death of Michael Jackson? Is this a burden to you? I didn’t like the negative reactions people had like “well he was a child molestor.” I think that’s a terrible thing to say, you shouldn’t be saying “oh, I’m glad they’re dead” about people unless they were really bad, threatening people & I don’t think Michael Jackson was.
33. Do you find it is impossible to ‘connect’ with anyone even with all of the equipment? I think it’s very hard to connect with people with all the technology. It almost makes you disposable like if you don’t have something really special people are going to forget about you & find something more interesting instantaneously.
34. When you are on a plane going long distance…and you and the persons next to you haven’t spoken a word and are watching twenty movies right in front of their eyes…are you worried that the plane will crash and the last person you see hasn’t spoken one word to you? I don’t even think the situation has to be this specific. Most people you encounter in the world just don’t notice you anymore. It’s like if something bad happened to you out in public how much faith do you have that some stranger would actually help you?
43. Would you like to throw your cell phone in the river sometimes…a big cathartic, water-skipping throw? Not really, it’s not really constantly going off at all so I don’t mind it. I only get frustrated with it when it doesn’t work how it’s supposed to.
