Can anyone explain to me the appeal of twitter? It's so boring, no one puts anything interesting up, the only interesting people to follow are maybe celebrities, but even those people are probably just PR people doing it for them. I just dont see the appeal of something that lets you put up a super short comment about whatever you want that everyone else can read...are people really that egotistical that they need to constantly tell people what they are doing, or thinking instead of just the people that might be interested? We have texting, phones, email and face to face interaction for a reason. Why do i want to know that your on the porch now? Facebook is bad enough with the status updates, but at least its more social. Twitter is just a way to blow up peoples ego's and i hate it. I can see it being fun MAYBE if all your close friends were using it all the time...but if theyre not, i really couldn't give less of shit about what ashton kutcher is doing.
