technology

I am not very good with technology and computers but it is not because i don't understand them, it is because I don't believe we need all this high tech stuff. I don't have a smart phone and I am getting along perfectly fine without one. Why does everyone need to be connected 24/7. If I am having dinner with someone or I am out on the town with a few friends why do I need to know what is going on at home right now. It is not like I am going to stop what I am doing and go home or I need to know at that precise moment that you hooked up with this person. No I don't if I'm out, I'm out and I don't want to be reachable all the time. It is ridiculous to me. I mean yes it's good to stay connected to friends but when you are going over thousands of messages a month that seems a little crazy to me. I feel more and more people are losing there privacy and they don't care or they don't even no that it is happening to them. Everyone will no where you are when you stay connected 24/7. If people would just take time out of there day to put down the cell phone, put down the laptop and just view there surroundings and the people they are with I think the world would see a big change in a good way.
