overhearing conversations

I'm sure this happens to everyone but normally when I'm walking in between classes I hear fragments of other people's conversations. They usually don't make any sense & sound kind of stupid since they are out of context but today I passed these two guys & one of them was just repeating over & over again AWKWARD AS BALLS AWKWARD AS BALLS. It kind of makes sense this time, balls are kind of awkward.
