Blood the last Vampire

Blood the last vampire is a anime (for those that don't know its' just a cool way of saying a cartoon from japan). This anime inspired a live action film and anime series of the same name, so to clarify the one I am speaking about, its' the first one to be created which is the animated film adaptation. In the anime there exist a young girl (of japanese desent i guess) who is said to be the last vampire (and surpise her name is blood just in case you didn't know). Well although she seems young she really is about a 100 years old (if not a couple of 100 of years old) whom (to our luck) happens to be one of the good guys. The plot of the film is simple, she is sent to a school and pretend to be among the student body in order to kill the vampires whom happened to be in the school (for reasons I either forgot or wasn't explained). So armed with her sword she goes to the school and begins slaying these vampires. from what i remember the anime wasn't too long about a little over an hour and I enjoyed every moment of it. I loved the drawing and the story was straight forward (although their was plot holes such as why the vampires she killed seem like monsters or demons while she seemed human like the 'hollywood' type pf vampire) but even with that in mind it was still a good watch. It dodn't really add anything original to the whole vampire genre nor was Blood explored as a character, it was just a simple story of a good vampire killing bad vampires for personal reasons not known (although she so seem to work in harmony with her government whom gave her the mission). So if you got a free hour and in the mood to watch animated gore and a story involving a young japanese vampire in a school girl outfit weilding a sword, this is the anime to watch.
