Isn't it a bit ridiculous how well-marketed products can do incredibly well in today's marketplace for no reason whatsoever aside from brand-association and brand-loyalty? Why is it that Nike makes a superior product? Surely not because they outspend the competition when it comes to ads and sponsorships? I find it disturbing how easily the general populace is swayed by the marketing ploys of such brands as Nike (though many of their products are great, much of it today is simply crap) and Bose, the brand to which audiophiles everywhere dedicate the motto: "friends don't let friends buy Bose". Wake up people.
