Monday bio lab-the results

So its the return of Monday morning bio lab and on the plate for today is a pretty easy lab. It consists of simply running a gel. Today we had the most mammoth lab report due so simply running a gel is a well deserved break. Now onto the much anticipated results of all these weeks of work...we have fluorescent colonies! This is way harder to get than one may think. This is the third time we attempted to make glowing bacteria and the first time we got results. Maybe its the constant blogging about every activity in lab...whatever it is I hope it happens more often because there are few things cooler than green glowing bacteria.
