/OPEN MIC

Open mic night is tonight and I'm practicing with my friend. I'm not nervous I'm just scared that I will forget my lyrics. This is my first time ever performing live and I can't even sing but my friend needs help so I'm there for him. It should be fun, I hope. I'm actually pretty happy he asked me to help because I've never done anything like this and I've always wanted to participate in open mic but never had any talent or the courage to go up on stage by myself. Even if I make a fool of myself tonight, I'll be happy I got the courage to go up on stage and sing to strangers!
