sunday game

so despite the rain, wind and cold, we still had our game today against fordham which we won and it was a shut out. we got to the field at 10:30 am for our 1pm game and froze for 2 hours before the game started. meanwhile, fordham took their lovely time in their heated cars traveling here and was late. by the time we started there were huge puddles on the field and players were slippin and slidin. there were some pretty cool plays like when one of our girls popped the ball back, as she slid in the mud, to another player who eventually scored. by the end of the game, i couldn't feel my fingers or toes and my cleats were soaked in muddy water. but it was all worth it since next week, we play rutgers in the semi finals.
