that was a close one

Ok, so my parents just left me home with my new puppy. We haven't even had him a week yet but he hasn't been too bad lately so my Mom told me to take him out and play with him on the grass. So, as I'm doing this I see him slowly start to investigate and walk further away from me, now since he is only a puppy, he really isn't sure of his own name yet. So, he makes his way to the front of the yard and down towards the bottom of my driveway. I start getting nervous because I don't know if he is going to keep going so I call his name and nothing happens. Now you are told never to chase a dog because he will just keep running away, so now ive got a little problem. So after 15 minutes of calling him I slowly walk up to him and pick him up. I carry him back into the house and thats where he lays right now. Ill think twice about letting him out by myself again...
