Where the wild things are

This is a film based on a children's book and from the commericail I just saw it must have received alot of great reviews. So as i was in my room looking at the t.v I told my roommate that for some reason the monsters, creatures or what ever it is in the film looks really eerie, to which he replied that it is all in my mind. I don't know the plot of the film all I know is what i seen in the commercial. In the commercial there was a little boy walking with this creature and I couldn't help but think that if i was that boy I would had be scareed to death. I'm in college and I rather watch friday the 13th than that children's film. The thing looks weird, spooky, if i was younger I know the film would had crepted me out. The creature has this big head and big smiling face which isn't inviting like the smile of a serial killer or something. I don't mean to take something innocent and destroy it but just look at the trailer and you'll see how scary thing thing would have been if it was real.
