anti loner people

Sometimes I feel like most people are made uncomfortable by people who like to spend their time alone. Just because someone is alone doesn't always mean that they are unhappy, maybe they feel comfortable by themselves & want to do something & its more convenient to do it alone. I remember once I went to Friendly's on a break between classes at Stony Brook to get loaded waffle fries because they're seriously delicious & the waitress was bothering me a lot. She asked me like 5 times if I was okay & I wasn't being paranoid. It wasn't like a would you like another soda are you okay but like an are you going to kill yourself okay. I went so far as to put books on the table so she would see that I was studying & maybe she'd feel better about it. I don't want to be doing something by myself & worry about how other people might think of it. I normally don't care but when they're in your face like that what are you supposed to do?
