...But are we not refugees and voyeurs in both styles....in lifespan and lifestyle...s. We are handed lifestyles by antiquated institutions and we are expected to make due. We then try to overcome these....reject these...and then take on others as a sort of movable feast...the lifestyle is something we use to forget lifespan with...We then chose to contrast this...our lifespan (often looking at the mistakes of others as guides to our 'lifestyle' and hoping our lifespans will avert mistakes...Oedipus) with ‘alternatives’ that examine ‘lifespan’ with some sort of scientific precision and don’t acknowledge a fact that these are mere numbers and any number out of place can replace a plan…. and why a plan in the first place? Most of us enjoy just milling around and stumbling through the sequence of pleasant possibilities that mix with the others lifespan…. life span has now…through our obsession with experts become life plan and we listen and don’t experience as those who make the new algorithms seem to have the perspective…if not…they have turned the possibilities into numbers…. states and bits…and then reconstituted them back for us in the form of atoms…. how we are to proceed with our lifespan once our contingent lifestyle has crashed and burned as a system....
